Description

An English description of the definition (what distinguishes this sense of the term?).

The representation of organization structure information shall conform to the ontology specified in the W3C Recommendation “The Organization Ontology”. It is included in its entirety with the prefix ‘org’. In the W3C Organization ontology, an Organization may act as an agent and is comprised of a collection of people, organized with some structure, and with some common goal. In this document, an Organization is defined as a subclass of org:Organization with extensions/specializations relevant to this document.
